Cocoa Butter is obtained from the fruit of the Cacao tree (Theobroma Cacao) from which we get chocolate, this product has a mild chocolate aroma. Cocoa butter is great for dry or cracked skin, it melts just above room temperature and is high in saturated fats which help to lock moisture in. You can also use cocoa butter as a lip chap. Cocoa butter can be used a natural moisturiser for the treatment of dry skin, eczema or psoriasis. Cocoa butter also works extremely well as a hair moisturiser. Topical use of Cocoa Butter can help improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles, it can also reduce photoaging. If your skin is sensitive an easily irritated Cocoa Butter is an easy alternative, it also works well as a natural rash cream.
